Invitation for December 25 to 27, 2024, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. in the synagogue
On December 25th this year, our seven-day Hanukka festival begins. We have taken this as an opportunity to combine traditional elements, such as the festive lighting of candles, with current sociopolitically relevant topics such as religious freedom and tolerance on three consecutive evenings in order to exchange ideas about how we can achieve peaceful coexistence. We are building a bridge between the past and the present, so to speak.
With the support of the Dresden Neustadt district office, we are lighting up the site of the old Leipzig train station and have exciting contributions ready for you.
As usual, you can expect a cozy get-together while eating in the synagogue, as well as a musical program by the synagogue choir.
For the little ones among you, there will be a more playful program in parallel.
We look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones to the site of the old Leipzig train station and synagogue.
Please register here (and of course surf the right evening beforehand...)
